In the comment section for one of my pics I ended up having a conversation about texturing and UV maps and it seemed a good idea to expand a bit on that in a journal entry. If it proves to be of some value to someone, then it’ll be worth it J   Incidentally, I’ll be using Daz Studio for examples, but this will work for Poser and the concepts are the same for most other applications. Let’s first explain what all the terms mean. UV mapping   This is the method of turning a 3D object into a 2D map. If you consider any real garment, it’s made of flat pieces of cloth that are then stitched together to make a piece of clot

Seems like ages since i've been on here. Well I guess it is, but I've been a bit busy of late after my 2 month trip to Canada and the US. I'll try and get round to replying to messages over the next few days, but if I miss any, thanks to everyone thats faved one of my pics, or added me to their watch list, or left a comment on a pic.
